Some Aru Island Blue Tongue Skinks

Here are some of our Aru Island Blue Tongue Skinks. This is an adult female and her offspring.
These are similar to the Halmahera in the sense that they are currently described as Tiliqua gigas gigas but will likely be separated into their own subspecies and renamed.
For many years they have been considered rare and difficult to obtain but over the past two years there has been an increase in them appearing for sale.
They remind me of a mixture between a Merauke and Yellow Indonesian.
