Blister on Skinks Mouth

Hi! I am very new to owning my Northern Blue Tongue Skink. I brought him home on Saturday. I just noticed as I was holding him that he has a blister under neath on the outside of his mouth. I am obviously a bit worried and was wondering if anyone here could help me out on what this could be. Could it be a sign of shedding?

Yes definitely post a picture. Where did you purchase him and how sure are you that it is a Northern?
