So, I took my northern, Toaster, outside to let him explore the yard while I followed closely. Usually, I can stop him from eating random bugs and stuff, but I didn’t notice that he was heading directly for a small pile of rabbit droppings & I think he ate one before I could even react.
Will he be alright? Is there anything I can do if eating that will hurt him? Should I go ahead and call my vet?
An IMPORTANT thing to note is my dad has been using some sort of “rabbit repellant” thing for a few months, since these rabbits live under our back porch. I’m not sure what it is, and I can’t find the bag, so I’ll have to ask him as soon as he gets home later today.
UPDATE: Found the repellant bag. It’s called “Enviro Protection Rabbit Scram”

Hopefully he will be ok, there's really not a lot you can do about it. In the future I would keep him inside if any toxins are being used outside.

Rabbits eat their own feces for extra vitamins.
Heck it is probably healthy for him!
Don't worry about it.

Update: Toaster has been fine so far! I’ve been much more careful when taking him outside.
