Hello everybody! I got my BTS two days ago and had a quick question. He's on lizard litter and when he eats from his bowl he tends to wipe his face on his substrate. Which is normal. But he does get substrate on his face and will eat it. Not lots of substrate, but it does scare me a bit. Will this cause impaction? Or will the aspen pass through him fine?
Thank you for your time!

Re: Question from a new Blue Tongue Skink owner!
If the particles of litter can't be digested and too large to pass through the GIT - yes - there is a real risk of impaction.
Show us photos of the stuff.

They're very small particles. Just little squares of aspen. Here's a picture of his setup!
