Redness in corner of mouth?

Hello everyone, my Irian Jaya Sophie has been living with me for about 8 months now. Recently I have noticed some redness in the corner of her mouth on both sides and I'm concerned it could be the start of something. I have linked a pic below:

Should I be concerned? Recently she has been very picky about food but I just assumed that was because I was over feeding and she hates dandelion greens, now I'm concerned she is uncomfortable.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

While I don't want to say for sure - I believe it's normal for Blueys to have a brighter red colour in the corner. For now it doesn't look too unusual, as can't see any swelling or discoloration compared to the front of the gums, and I presume she still closes her mouth normally when not being held? (I think the deeper red is may be veins). But I'm not too sure of the discoloration around the eye, hopefully another user can confirm if it's looking normal to them too!

Yes, she has no trouble closing her mouth. Thank you for your input! I had not really even noticed the eye... should I be worried about that too? I just assumed it was a discoloration due to coco husk touching her eye and making the Skink equivalent of tear stains.

That's great to hear! I'll attach a picture from ours eating today, we tend to see the red corners of the mouth more when he does 'big chomps'; otherwise it's not normally visible xD

Screen shot from gif - can see similar red tone to your image :D

Just to show when the red corners are visible during the big chomps - think it's just a type of tissue to allow them to open their mouth really wide! Sorry for the gif quality, best can do with 3mb ^__^ it lightened the red colour, but can still get an idea..

Doesn't seem much of a concern (as can't see anything to be worried about, doesn't seem to be strange other than the colour). It could be tear stains, but first time hearing about that from coco husk :D of course, not saying it can't happen! At a guess, maybe a discoloration from shedding? If it's still there after their next shed (or potentially if it gets darker or showing anything weirder like puss) then can look into it further!
