Getting off shed

Postby Halogen » Sat Jul 29, 2017 2:21 pm

So my skink has been in shed for about a week. I've given him 2 Shed-Ease baths but there is still alot of shed left. The humidity is about 40-60% and my skink is a merauke. Any thing I should do other than wait?

You can also try a humid hide and see if that helps.

Meraukes need a humidity level of at least 80% and will not thrive unless they have it according to the care sheet. My advice so future sheds are much easier is to change to a substrate that hold humidity well, mist the enclosure down once/twice a day, and a humid hide definitely wouldn't hurt.
