Hey, so recently I had posted a question about my skink not eating and pooping - which my skink is now not doing anymore. (MY SKINK IS CALLED CLOUDY FYI) c
Cloudy has been recently gone 3 days, consecutively pooping in the afternoon. Only, the poop is more a diahorrea. Cloudy seems to poop after I give her a warm soak. Is the soak being a problem? Is it something I've been feeding? Her diet is butternut squash, carrot and bok choi. I've been freezing it into ice cubes. I am not using calcium powder as it seemed to survive 7 months without a problem without calcium in the pet shop.
Other tank notes
Temperature: 28-29 (winter temps)
Feeding: every day / every 2 days
Substrate: Regularly changed newspaper, probably changed every week
Tank: melamine 4 ft
Water: small dish, refilled every day in the morning.
UV: yes it is a 5% bar light but is 35 cm above
I also would like to know why my skink's colours are fading. Cloudy used to have a yellow stripe running down her back, but it has faded and slowly turning brown. Could this be the UV, which let me remind you, is not 30 cm above the ground, but 35?
I would appreciate if I could get some feedback and help for this situation.
Thanks.

Re: Diahorrea? Fading colours?
A total vegetable diet can cause runny poop, I would feed him more protein like a good quality dog food. Mine will even eat it dry. The color change is usually the result of an upcoming shed. Many reptiles will poop after or during a warm soak.

Re: Diahorrea? Fading colours?
Water stimulates the bowels causing them to poop. That's why most reptiles tend to poop in their water dishes all the time.
Fading colours mean that she's due for a shed in about a week.
