155-174 day gestation for northern. Babies finally

Finally after a long gestation of 155-174 days Large Marge finally dropped babies. She had 12 but two were deformed and passed shortly. The rest are perfectly healthy. Was very concerned with her long gestation. She's almost 6 years old and this is her first litter. 3rd northern litter this season so far.

Aawww, congrats! I was getting nervous after 125, mine finally at 127 from last pairing, but she went long last year too.
Hahah Large Marge...I have a Cuban Anole pair Large Marge and Jade. (Girly name for the boy, but I had no idea of sex when I got him as a hatchling) I think I would have ended up in the psych ward if my northern took that long. I was already having nightmares. Enjoy your new babies!!

They averaged about 20-22 grams. One runt is 11 grams. I've had females breed and produce early as 10 months old. If they're up to size they can breed. I usually wait till their 2nd year.

My little guys weighed in at 28 grams at birth, litter of 12.
