Mistakes Were Made

So I made a smoothie with milk, greek yogurt, and some fruits. I couldn't find anything about feeding it to them so I let my skink sniff it and he drank a small bit. Yet apparently reptiles can not have things like milk or yogurt and now I am worried that my skink will get ill. Will my skink be okay?

Probably a good idea to let us know the following:

What species of skink?
Age?
How much did the skink consume?

One would think milk products would be ok since it is a good source of calcium; however, I don't think reptiles can metabolize too well. I'd keep a close eye on your skink for a few days. Maybe let it have access to water only for a week or so. Since skinks use their tongue to lap up liquids like dogs, I doubt it consumed much.

Once we know the answers to the above 3 q's, one of our experts will chime in.

My Skink is around 1 to 2 years old according to the breeder and is a merauke. He didn't drink that much but I couldn't give an exact amount.

Also, if my skink does get sick how would I tell? Would he like move slower or make unusual sounds? Would I have to see a vet or will it just go away eventually with no treatment needed.

If it's only a few licks I wouldn't be overly concerned even if it's questionable if BTS can digest "dairy" products. Will likely just go straight through and out the other end.

I was eating a yogurt parfait. My older one knew I was eating something so he climbed onto my lap and lunged at my spoon, grabbed a mouthful of the yogurt and wanted more! He didn't have any reaction to it later, didn't act sick, no diarrhea...but fortunately he didn't get much.

I really wouldn't be overly worried about this. Yes, it is best to avoid dairy products all together because dairy proteins may cause digestive issues, plus most yoghurts contain a lot of unnecessary sugar, but as long as he is pooping normally (not overly runny, no blood in it) then you'll know all is well.
Unless you see a huge change in his feces and/or his behavior, I wouldn't worry about making a vet appointment --although, having one on hand whom you are comfortable with might be a good thing BEFORE you find yourself in an emergency situation...
