Hello everyone! im back here with another question
this time its about temperature (and heat mat)
My BTS seems to be doing just fine with the weather in my country (Indonesia,Jakarta)
so is it still recommended to get a heat mat considering the weather that is extremely hot (32 celcius in the day, rain 29 celcius and by cloudy night 27 celcius)
and do i need to put my bts on air con during night to follow the day and night cycle or just let it be?

I'd say a hot spot would be a nice addition as well as a night cool. Nothing crazy, but a warm spot to warm the belly during the day and a night drop to imitate what's happening outside at night. Nothing major though as you're already "in country."

I agree that overheating could be a problem with any reptile. Just make sure to use a good thermostat and monitor the temps manually if you make any changes.

We have the VE-300x2 model which is actually two thermostats in one with each one having all of the extra features.
The VE-300 is the single version.
I prefer the proportional pulse version which the VE-200 also has, but does not have the built in night drop.
The VE-200 is the least expensive of the line, but the 300X2 gives you the most for the money.
One of the temp guns would be a good idea, too, if you don't already have one.

Aaron has given you perfect advice!
You are already close enough with the temperatures simply by being in the country where gigas naturally live, but yes, if you can figure out a way to give your (beautiful!!) skink access to a slightly warmer spot for a portion of the day where he can warm his belly, if he so chooses, but without raising the temperature throughout the rest of his tank, that would be ideal --like the sun warming a rock outside where a skink may come and lay for a short while. Nothing huge or drastic. Like, a low wattage lamp shining on a raised tile in the tank for half an hour while turning on a fan in the room to increase air-circulation, maybe?
And if you are able to lower the temperature a bit during the night would also be ideal, like a skink digging into cool dirt for the night, but be careful to not direct any cool air so it blows directly into the tank.
You just have to try to think of the options a skink would have access to in nature, and then give him access to choose what he needs. This is what we all try to do.
