Hello everyone!

So I decided to turn my blue tongues enclosure into a bio-active environment. This keeps the humidity perfect and I only have to spray the cage 1-2 times a day for Pickles. I do however, have one question:

What are some good live plants to put in her cage? I will be leaving them in the plastic 'pots' so they do not get uprooted at easy.

Thanks!

I'm sorry I can't recommend specific plants, but I do have a question. What is your substrate made of?

Not exactly potted plants, but one thing I love tossing in tropical enclosures is grass. :D I use the Scott's brand of grass seeds and choose the ones that can grow in shady areas. I've tossed in the grass seed in tubs that get little light, and the grass grows very quickly; I can imagine it would grow a lot quicker in a well-lit terrarium. Now, how much your skink digs may affect how the grass grows. Some of my blue tongues don't burrow or dig much, so the grass doesn't get uprooted.
