My First Week as a BTS Mom...

Postby Carrie » Sat Dec 17, 2016 9:50 am

I got my Northern bluey a week ago today. She's 6 months old (and I decided that she would be a she. She hasn't, or from what I understand, can't be sexed. Ray Gurgui, her breeder thought possibly a female.) She was weighed in at 114 grams when I got her home. I weighed her yesterday and she was 167!!! I've been giving her Repashy's Bluey Buffet, 2 tablespoons, every other day. On Thursday I added a little bit of Zoo Med's Red Banana. She inhales her food. But I'm worried she gained too much too fast.

Any help??

Repashy will put on a lot of water weight. Vary her diet a bit and her weight will straighten out. A high quality dog food is a good choice, you can mix in vegetables too.
