There is a huge amount of variation when it comes to theses guys, especially when just observing colour and tones alone. Yours are nice examples of meraukes, while some patterning plays a part in identifying them as such, there is also a substantial amount of body shape and conformation which plays a roll in identification. Also keep in mind that while doing an image search, even with keyword 'merauke', the results still yield many images of blueys who are not meraukes, so that could be throwing you off.
Have a look at bluetongueskinks.net they have good descriptions of the defining traits of each species and subspecies. I belive there is also a species specific gallery on here;
viewforum.php?f=25Locals aren't really a thing when it comes to the indo blueys, with perhaps the exception of the Halmahera. This is likely because it's nearly impossible to tell where the animals where caught from before farmed or exported (this is an assumption on my part, so someone may know better).
