What type of skink

Hi guys, I got a BTS about a month ago at a reptile show, and he was sold to me as an Irian Jaya. The skink he was being sold alongside was labeled as a Merauke, and as he's grown his color patterns have made me wonder if he's really an IJ, but I'm a newbie. If some of the more experienced members could chime in I'd appreciate it.

He's a Merauke BTS, Tiliqua gigas evanescens. :thumbs:
