New baby northern and questions!

So I just received my new baby northern and am in love as I'm sure you guys know the feeling! This is my second northern and my second skink ever. When I got my fist though he was already good sized and I was in a more stable position for food so I fed wet dog food. Now however things have changed and I have decided because he is so small and everything to go with cat food but wanted to know specifically the protein content to fat ratio that is recommended? I was having difficulty finding information on it. I found a cat food I like the ingredients and works for me but is 32% protein and 22% fat which seems high? Any thoughts on this? I will also attach pictures of my new baby!!!

I cannot answer your question in any detail that I'm sure you are looking for, as I feed both dog food and cat food to newborns — but, congrats on the new addition! Welcome back.

High fat content is fine to feed while they are small and growing like crazy. Babies of most species (reptiles, birds(?), mammals) do just fine with a lot of fat --some even require it.
I tend to feed my babies puppy food for the first little bit, which is much higher in fat than the versions for adult dogs.

That's great to know! I think I'll go with what I was looking at then which was a type of wellness soft cat food which I thought would be better for the babies mouth as opposed to the hard dry food I feed my adult. $30 a bag but I couldn't argue with the ingredients!
