Forgot to add they went again the following day,cold snaps hit and has had goes again the following 2 days but gives up and goes back to basking

Well after winter finally hit and he suddenly slowed his interest right down for 3 days hes back into it again now,pencil in a 3rd successful copulation

Mark the female is a prince regent,the males actually her son but he was fathered by a kunnanurra male,so hes a kunnanurra prince regent kimberley mix

A very pale one to by both prince regent and kunnanurra standards

2nd female northerns windows finally opened,kunnanurra female being covered by the same prince regent/kunnanurra male as first female who started back on may 23rd

Seems like for ever ago,but cold weather seems to have shut them down but with a few milder days on the cards the female mated in post above got covered for a second time today,this time by my biggest kunnanurra male

Big fella covered one of the older kunnanurra lasses for a second time yesterday,today tried him with two others and he had a good try but gave up after messing around for a bit

Been a very slow inconsistwnt season with the northerns after the good ish early start,looks like some more action may be immenent now though

Bugger me

I thought mating season was long over for these guys,but big kunnanurra male will have none of thise thoughts,lol

You will note above this male covered the last two females starting on the first on july 28th and finishing on the other august 13th,he may or may not have covered two other females 4 or 5 weeks back ,both got scuffed up,but no mating witnessed, and now hes starting on this lass,hes 3 days off from having his first mating 2 months ago

Males have suprisingly big windows if conditions suit

First mated female this season started way back on may 23rd,today shes at 108 day since last mating which was june the 9th,no ovulation witnessed so not sure when she will drop but cant be to far off

Surely not to far off now,lol

The waiting period doesnt get any easier,lol
