Dog Food Recommendations
On occasion, I'm too busy to poach ground turkey/lean beef/eggs for Groot to eat. I brought a can off dog food for a quick fix. Groot was appalled. He skipped it and ate his veggies. I fed him a bit of Wellness Brand's Lamb and Beef stew. All the ingredients checked out as okay. I liked the idea. The food wasn't a pate. It was chunks of beef and lamb. I was really hoping he'd enjoy it. What dog food(s) do you recommend trying to feed him?

Just try different consistencies, go smooth instead of chunky..
We get this question all the time. These might help.
Grain vs grain free
What is your favorite dog food brand?
What types of dog food do you guys use?

Re: Dog Food Recommendations
I've had excellent feeding responses from serving Blue Buffalo grain-free wet dog food. They have a selection of "Wilderness" flavours that are grain-free and high in protein. They are great to serve with a little bit of veggies or greens. Blue Buffalo also has different stews I've tried too, and they both like them. Natural Balance also has some stews that my Skinks go crazy for, such as "Gobbler Cobbler" which is grain-free and "Chow-down Chowder" which has some grains in it. I vary the flavours and whatnot of the dog food I offer quite a bit so that there's a variety in their diets. Those ones are worth trying, but it might take a while for your skink to get used to eating something different. Hope this helps

I can also vouch for the Blue Buffalo Wilderness brand. Excellent nutritional value and it comes in a variety of can sizes (in case you need to make a larger or smaller batch of food than normal).
