Help! Bluey Not Eating Live Feeders!

I have a healthy, happy Irian Jaya blue tongue skinks that eats actively but just won't touch live feeders. I feed her canned dog food with added fresh greens and fruits. I have a Dubia colony for my bearded dragon and I think it's better for my bluey to have some, too. The only time that she had any live insect was when I just got her, she had like 10 live crickets. But after that she haven't had any live insects. How can I get her to eat roaches?

It's normal for Blueys to go off live feeders as they get older. Both of mine loved insects as babies, but as they've matured they now don't have any interested in them and just eat their dog food. I tried to give them hornworms, silkworms etc but to no avail. I wouldn't worry about their lack of interested though, what you're feeding them is perfectly fine as it is :)

Blueys have personal preferences to certain foods. Perhaps as she hasnt eaten roaches before she refuses them. You could try killing the roaches and putting them in her normal dinner to start with. You could also hold the roach in a pair of tongs rather than letting it run free?

I tried feeding my bluey morio worms and despite him liking live feeders he wouldn't touch them.

Have you tried putting the insects in the fridge for a short time (10-15 minutes) to slow them down a bit before feeding? If they are too active and fast blueys might not care to chase them, so people do this for crickets. Might work with cockroaches too?

Freezer works too, just leave them in there for about 30 seconds. I used to have to do that for my baby pictus geckos. They have TERRIBLE aim lol

I tried freezing them and I also tried offering her dead roaches, I guess she just won't take them XD
I'll just keep feeding her vegetables and dog food.
