Hey guys,
I'm new here but I've have my blue tongue skink for about a year now. I got her not as a hatchling but I would say juvy.. I ordered her online and when I got her she seemed to be very frightened by being held or even the sight of humans. She's gotten a little better but still is not liking when I try to pick her up. She is about 2 feet now and does not like being handled too much. Any suggestions to maybe get her to mellow out a bit???

What exactly does 'she' do when you try and pick her up?
Over in FAQS you can also check the care sheet, it has heaps of info on enclosure set up. Do you offer hides and stuff in the enclosure so they can feel secure? There's also a thread in FAQs on how to safely pick up your skink so they feel supported.
Just a tip too, blueys aren't 'hatchlings' because they are actually live born. So just 'babies'.
