Problem with scales on head?

Hi, I just got my first bts a few days ago and I noticed today that her scales on her head were a little bit uneven. I don''t believe they looked like this a day ago. I'm not sure if there's anything wrong, she seems perfectly happy and healthy otherwise!

It looks to me like she may have had some injuries to her head at some point, that are now healed over. Obviously there's no way to know for sure, but since the surrounding scales look smooth and shiny, so I don't think it's dehydration....
As I blew the image up to look at the scales, it looks a bit like there's something (scales?) peeling up, or coming off, from her right eye... Do her eyes seem to be watery or crusty at times? Or is it just loose substrate sticking to her face, making it look like it's out of her eye?
Looks like a Merauke by the way; am I right?

Thanks for getting back to me! Hopefully she'll be alright. I got her from a reputable seller of captive bred skinks, and she seems to have been very well taken care of and very docile, so I'm not sure what could have happened. And yes, those are just little bits of substrate around her eyes
