Hello everyone!
What do you do when you go on vacation for more than a few days? I am going to be away for about 10 days. I have his lights set on a timer, which should work while I'm gone. Should I get someone to come feed him and refill his water dish? If so, how often? I'm such a worrier, and this is the first time I've been away for more than a few days, and there won't be anyone in the house. The whole family doesn't go on vacation very often so my brother or one of my parents is usually at the house if I'm gone for more than weekend. The whole family is coming on vacation this time. Any suggestions?

Food he can go without for 10 days and won't even notice, just get somebody to drop buy ever few days to clean out/refill the water.

I agree with Nick. I know I'd personally feel a whole lot better, and be able to relax more, if I knew I had someone who could come by and --at the very least-- check their water every couple of days. I'd worry about an unexpected power outage as well and not having the heat come back afterwards, or something else malfunctioning while I was gone... Ultimately it'd be best if you could get someone who could feed as well, but that's not as important as checking on water and that everything else is alright.

To bad our bubs don't drink out of those rabbit water dispenser things would make it a lot easier to keep the water clean for them.
I didn't mention to get a friend to feed them aswell because as such a short time away they wont really notice and as Susann pointed out if there was a blackout or power outtage you dont want them fed, the person leave and then an hour the power goes out and the friend coming by doesn't know til days later while it has a belly full of undigested food.
