Cage height
Hello! I'm looking at a cage that's 48x24x12 and the dimensions are perfect until the height and I'm just wondering if that's too short for my future northern? It seems more like a snake cage...was wondering if the size up that has all the same dimensions except 15" height would be worth it for an almost 100 dollar difference, thanks in advance! Rebecca!

Re: Cage height
Yes, a height of 12" seems too low in my opinion. The floor area sounds excellent, though.
By "climbing" up on the sides of the enclosure, a full-grown Northern would easily reach the top (especially if there will be lights). I'd say 15" is better and 18"+ would be super.
