BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

It's really hard to find collard greens, mustard greens or dandelion greens in where I live, only lettuce and stuff.

Plus my skink won't eat any green.

She does accept some squash though.

Her favorites are bananas and rabbit meat cat food, but I heard they shouldn't have these often.

Squash is really good for skinks so if your skink won't eat greens I would give squash instead.

Do you feed dog food? If so, it has some vegetables already mixed in. Many keepers feed 100% dog food. I haven't fed mine greens in quite a long time.

Bananas are fine as a treat but not as a diet staple, depending on who you ask a lot of people feed only dog food not veggies aswell but there is no harm in feeding veggies aswell, as said above Squash is really good for them so even if you can only manage to feed your skink Squash and dog food thats good.

Squash is the only vegetable mine will eat completely by itself not mixed with anything. Surprised me when I tried it one day just for giggles.

Thanks I thought they needed both then I'll just feed her squash.

Not yet do you have a brand to recommend? What kind of dog food do you feed canned or dry
