BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Got up this morning and went to see if 3rd northern girl had dropped anything over night and spotted this scene over in the big kunnanurras cage,dark oddball kunnanurras mum had started birthing,found 4 babies then had to shoot off to work so scooped them out and left a big plate of food

Got home this arvo and found the misses thought it was hot out so she had turned the power to shed off so i flicked it back on thinking wasnt that hot and went for a look see and saw a slug sutting on the basking slate


30 secondsater out comes a cold mum and devours it then sits under light to warm up,a quick squiz of cage whilst shes cold reveals no further babies,this lass goes nuts at baby time,thismorning when i scooped babies out she charged out of cage and latched onto my shoe,lol

So just watching her warm up now,shes starting to push already so hopefully the cooling experience hasnt affected anything

This female ovulated 2 days before the dark oddball kunnanurra on july 12th

Nope just the 4 babies from big girl,my guess is she had a few slugs after initial 4
