Pablo Update/Shed
Hello everyone! I noticed a drastic color change in Pablo and I can only assume he is in shed. This post is more of an update on him and an excuse to post more pictures to be honest. @mjolaga515 I know you asked for some updates on him a while ago but I've been busy with work and in between that working with Pablo. He is still not a fan of being held, however; I have notice his cage aggressiveness has lowered tremendously. When I used to lift his hide (I know I shouldn't) he would hiss to hell and back. When I did earlier today to check on him there was no hiss. Just a look of "can I help you?" I was checking up on him because I noticed he hasn't been out of his hide in a while. Usually around 1 - 3pm he is basking on his rock. That's when I noticed the color change. So I've been doing my best to keep his humidity up with what a have for now. Using a squirt bottle. The MistKing is on it's way no worries there. Oh, almost forgot. I switched to just straight hand feeding instead of his dish. This has helped a lot. I would like to hold him but honestly I probably won't until after his shed. I want his first shed with me to be as healthy as possible. I don't want to stress him out in any way. Anyways, here he is. First picture is an old picture I have posted before to show the color difference.

Re: Pablo Update/Shed
No doubt about it, he's shedding
Sounds like you guys are doing great.
A humid hide can help greatly when they're shedding. If you have a plastic container you can cut an opening in, just put some paper towels in and wet with warm water and stick it under the heat lamp. If you're able to lower your heat lamp a bit, or elevate the hide, so it stays nice and warm in there, is great.
That way you likely wouldn't need to bother rubbing his toes to get shed off....
