Package was supposed to arrive today at well before 10:00am. but instead after massive delays and headaches and worry showed up at 9pm.. So far he seems to be doing okay. Just got him set up in the Quarantine tub, not that I don't trust Kim Lancey but i don't break procedure for anyone anymore no matter who it comes from. Pretty *darn excited about this guy and actually have a species Austin doesn't! =p

Beautiful bub you have there, has a name or idea of some names? Like the deep orange especially in contrast to the dark black that the bub has, looks similar to Reba to me, Diana's new Blotchie, any relation between them?
Congratulations on your beautiful baby...SO jealous!! I would have had to be put in a straitjacket in a rubber room if that precious little parcel was late arriving to me! Enjoy your baby, he's home!
Well done on the new acquisition. I was looking at a group of other alpine blotched the other day and they were really very nice but they were just not the same without the super orange dye that Kim puts into his!
Yes, I keep a supply of orange magic markers in stock!!!. Actually, you can thank Ray Gurgui for letting me borrow his super orange female back in 2009 and in 2010 I was able to get a very orange male to breed her. The offspring came out just as orange and I've been breeding a couple of those offspring to each other which throws off these orange animals. They don't all come out like that though, maybe 1 out of 4.
