Best cheap scale for weighing blue tongue skinks

Postby lupegirl8 » Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:23 am

So I've always weighed my turtles regularly to make sure they aren't losing or gaining too much weight, and I'd like to start doing that with my skink as well. The trouble is all my turtles are small enough to weigh on a small gram scale and my adult Northern bluey definitely isn't. Do any of you guys weigh your blueys and if so do you have any recommendations for cheap but accurate scales that work well?

Thanks in advance!

Yep kitchen scales work well and easy to find. You can put a bowl or tub that fits on the scale plate to put your bluey in for weighing. Your turtles must be teeny light!
