Hi!!
I am Christina and I hail from the Midwestern state of Missouri! I recently was given a female Irian Jaya bluey from a friend of mine who used to breed them. He said she may be gravid as she had been paired with a male and is indeed very large in comparison to his other females. I was wondering, any advice on how to tell? I know it's darn near impossible too and she could just be fat? Although I will say his other females were no where near as girthy as she lol!

It is also very late in the U.S. for an Irian Jaya to be gravid, unless she's a recent import.

I am just worried if she is that I meet the nutritional requirements for a gravid animal. I don't want her or the babies to get harmed from lack thereof.

Just feeding her a healthy diet of mostly dog food should be fine just in case she happens to be gravid, supplementing with a pinch of extra calcium every other to every third meal. No need to over-feed her, babies will be just fine.
She's not looking overly large to me, not super gravid anyway; her tail is looking like it's got some good storage going on, so my guess would be that she's a bit overweight. Nothing I'd call super unhealthy, but I would get her used to a few more veggies and greens mixed into the dog food.

Well that's good then! I have been using a mix of greens, peas, carrots, and some raspberries and strawberries in addition to high quality grain free wet dog food.
