She was produced this year by Kim Lancey, ill ask him if he has any pictures of Rebas parents. I do know pretty much all of his adult alpines are incredible black and orange skinks, he really has an amazing group!

I noticed almost immediately how different a baby blotchie is from a baby northern or eastern like im used too. Very bold and outgoing personality. Like shes not afraid of anything! Even last night when I was offering her her first meal here, as soon as she saw my hand with the plate coming into the cage shes in she came running out to investigate and gobbled half of it down before my hand was even back out of the enclosure.

I can't wait to watch her grow and change. And I only say "her" because I hate callin them "it". I really haven't the foggiest what sex she is. lol.

Yeah they sure are gung ho little piggies aren't they, seems like they have the same personality as the ones over here, my blotchie always stares me down and as soon as i open the enclosure it comes to investigate.
Judging by context i take it this is your first blotch? any plans to get more or try to breed them?

This little one is my second, my profile pic is a head shot of my adult 2013 male, Elvis. I would like to try and breed them down the line, though that's probably quite a few years down the road. For right now Im just excited to be able to raise one from a wee babe since I got my other as a full grown adult.

I am fully addicted now though.I see my finances suffering greatly in the future. I got this baby at a pretty big discount because of her various defects. From above she looks perfect but from the side looks a bit like a mountain range. lol. She has two fairly significant kinks, one at the hips and one in the upper back. Perfect baby blotchies run $2500 each. Itll be some time before I can actually afford those. I have a soft spot for baby bt's with physical defects like this that cause them to be a bit overlooked by potential buyers. To me, shes just as beautiful as a perfect one and in mind mind she is perfect, kinks and all. :P
