Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me out.
I don't know if it's Halmahera breeding season or what, but my skink whom I just called male all this time was propping his tail up against the food dish last night, and below him was a pool of a clear, mucus-like substance...
Does this mean he's a female? I looked up pictures of sperm plugs, and it didn't look anything like that.
Let me know if you can help.
I'll upload photos as soon as my phone charges (It just died and it had the pictures on it, but I wanted to post this right away in case someone knew exactly what it was.)

Sometimes a "goo" comes out when they expell urates, on both genders. Sperm plugs are pretty unmistakable, though. Pictures would help.
