What are you personal tips and tricks when it comes to storing food long term? Blueys obviously don't eat much each sitting, and there aren't small enough sizes of all their ingredients to be used before going bad most of the time. How can I make my food last longer, or are there ways to buy smaller amounts of things at a time rather than in packages?

I just do what I read on the forums here. Mix up a batch of food, freeze in ice cube trays, bag the cubes and store in the freezer. After that just defrost as needed.

Buy a couple kilos of dog food, couple kilos of veggies, put veggies into processor, mix veggies and dog food together, other next couple days i freeze them in ice cube trays and then put them into freezer bags, made up 5 kilos of food 2 months ago, feeding my 3 skinks 2 cubes 3 times a week im only halfway through it.

Just as everyone else has said, I freeze my food as well. Recently I bought some wet canned dog food for the first time (I used to use ground beef or turkey as a protein source) and decided to freeze it using ice cube trays as I had seen it suggested before (one can of dog food fit into 1 1/2 trays). I had already used a food processor to mix up my girls fruits and veggies and they were also stored in the freezer in containers. Now she gets two thawed cubes of dog food and a large tbsp of thawed fruits/veggies 1-2 times per week. It's quick and easy to prepare and as long as the food is not freezer burned (which would probably only happen if you stored the food for longer than 6-8 months) it should be fine for your skink.
