Let's say my skink got out of its cage. I need ideas to lure it out of hiding, please help!

try leaving some food out in the middle of the room it escaped in. if you think its gone any farther then try the same in other rooms you suspect it may be hiding in. make sure its out in the open so its easily visible for both it and you

Pretty much what Lucas said, keep all the doors closed in the house especially doors leading outside, put his favourite food in a dish in the room(s) keep an eye on it nad try to draw him out into the open, and don't step on anything other then direct floor, they like to hid in everything last thing you want to do is step on the little bub.
