How soon can I use NIX after using Mite off

Postby Pickles072584 » Fri Aug 14, 2015 10:56 pm

I have read so many helpful tips regarding Mites and I'd like to thank everyone!

I have 2 Blue tongues, completely separate from each other, 2 females.

The newest one, Petrie, I have had for about 4 months. She is a Helamahara.
I bought her at a reptile show not thinking that she was probably wild caught. Well she came with the usual- intestinal parasites (strongyloides) and now I am noticing mites.... Lots of them! I haven't noticed anything up until earlier today. I have lots of reptiles and am very worried about starting an infestation of all! My friend recommended using NIX, as he had for snakes and had good success. I just wasn't sure how soon after using Zoomed-MITE OFF math at I could safely use the NIX?? And do I spray her and the quarantine enclosure?? How often and is rinsing necessary?? ..... As of right now, I do not see mites in with my torties or other reptiles, but am looking to prevent them if possible.... Can I spray their enclosures with NIX also??? Thank you all in advance!
