Jerry is losing his tail! Help!

My adult blue tongue had a rough shed a couple of months ago, and I believe that the tip of his tail may have "died" due to cut off circulation. Is there anything I should do to help his tail? I feel so bad if he is suffering any pain at all. Anyone else experienced this? Help!!!

I've never had a skink lose anything due to constricted shed, but if that is the case here, it is going to be very uncomfortable for the poor animal and should be handled as quickly as possible. A warm soak and a dab of emu oil should fix it up, but this will happen again if the husbandry issue that caused this isn't fixed. Increase ambient humidity, and it's very important that the humidity increases without dampening the bedding. What species of blue tongue is he? That will determine how high the humidity has to be.
