BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I have a Indonesian blue tongue skink and he refuses to eat I took him to the vet recently only to find that he has gas pockets that wont allow him to use the bathroom my vet prescribed some skink friendly laxatives and I gave them to my skink. Sure enough he pooped a lot but after this he has refused to eat anything and hides under mulch all day. Ive tried to lure him out with food but he refuses to exit hiding any ideas???

Blue Tongues can go a surprising length of time between meals without much of a problem. Give him a few days to settle in without any disturbances, then try offering something that would be irresistible to a skink. Warm scrambled eggs, smashed up bananas and blue berries, superworms, etc.

I find Scrambled eggs to also be irresistible, for most skinks so is banana and small black grapes.
