How are the temps for our new buddy?

Here is our newest best friend who we are calling Snow for now until we know it's sex. Are the temps oT? I am getting as hot as 102 at the tip of the basking log and 96 on the basking rock while they sit at 76 in her or his cool hide. I am using a surface temp gun.
