does he/she look healthy or under weight at all?

Before yesterday I had literally only held a skink once before so I'm extreme new to them. How does this on look to you guys as far as health, weight, quality, coloring, size, how much bigger will it get or anything else you would like to tell me? I was told it's 9 months old and a northern. He's about 338 grams and around 16-17 inches long how. Thanks

Looks healthy to me! Beautiful skink! One key to knowing if they are underweight is if the hip bones are bulging out at the hind legs

Looks in great shape!! 4 of mine just turned a year old are pretty much adult size. Great looking northern!!

This may sound like a dumb question but they poop and pee on you evertime you handle them? I try to support his whole body but it seems like he's peeing on me and then kinda laughing about it as he slides away

They'll do it if not used to handling. After a while with gentle handling, this behavior should stop.

Mine used to pee/poop on me or on my bed but after a month or 2 they rarely do anymore.

Northerns arent renowned for pooping and peeing on you,could be they way your holding it perhaps,or its just unsettled

Its got some growing to do still,they average around 23 to 24 inches but some go beyond that and can easily reach a kilo in weight

This ones giving me a female vibe
