Entered the world of T.s. scincoides

Postby Cherbear » Wed Jul 01, 2015 2:49 pm

After a very late arrival time and mini panic attack, my three easterns have arrived!
It was soooo tough picking out from the babies, but I'm pretty sure I made the right decision. I can't even express how happy I am right now!!! :ohyes:
These guys have been my dream skink for some time and I was pretty determined to get some this year. I'm beyond ecstatic to begin working with these guys on top of my northerns. I'm hoping to come across a couple more sometime soon!

Such a great variation in this tiny group.

Nice looking bubs, they have a nice variety between the 3, did you specifically choose those 3 because of the variety?

Very nice. I'm partial to the dark one, unsurprisingly.

They look great! Congrats!

I'm with Nick, I really like the lighter one.

Round here where Easterns are really common I tend to see the darker ones much more. Maybe this is why the lighter appeals?

Regardless, they all look great!

We Ron first posted the litter I fell in love with the one with a little funky pattern, which turned out to be the lighter one. Then I asked for his assistance in picking out one of the darker babies. As for the little bub, I was kinda winging it as it was shortly after they were born and all the photos looked similar to me. I choose that little guy based on his pattern. In the end I am beyond happy with how they showed up. I didn't see pictures after their second shed or the little one's first so it was a surprise when opening the box. I think I scored big though :D

*drool*
sorry...is my jealousy showing??
Congratulations, they are beautiful and I would have had to have someone pick them out for me,
no way I could pick one! Best of luck with the little sweethearts, maybe one day you can help populate
our country's collections with these!

Very nice! I am a fan of the dark ones myself. Funny, they look kind of familiar...
