I really like the zigzag pattern on the one in the left of centre near the bottom of the picture !

No they're not northerns. Look like Irian Jaya x Northern crosses.

i got them from Sean he sold them to me as Northerns.

They are Northerns. Plenty of Northerns have that broken pattern on their backs that sometimes can look like zig-zags.

Fair enough. To be honest I was looking on my blackberry which is pretty rubbish for this kind of thing. On my laptop I can see that the female is a northern. The male, with the broken pattern, well I've not seen a northern like that before. Quite different to my animals for sure. I didn't mean to sound negative about your first breeding success. It is always an achievement 8)

I can now see the "sun spots" on the lower sides of both parents :roll: and Europe and the UK likely have very different bloodlines than North America and markings we're not familiar with :D

That is a very cool pattern on the sire :ohyes:
