Can anyone tell me we what this guys species is? I thought the previous owner might have meant a Northern BTS but he doesn't look like a Northern to me. Let me know what you guys think and thanks in advance for the help.

Can you guys help me identify the species of my skink
I got this little guy from someone who didn't know his species. They actually said he was a North American Blue Tongue Skink (I Know right??)

A very nice Merauke 
From the first picture, with those rich mahogany markings, I thought he was an Irian Jaya with thinner than normal banding but that single dark stripe down the back of the neck is a good indicator that it's a Merauke
