I found 4 babies today. I was surprised it was this quick since they only mated on 2/23.

Re: eye banded easterns
Last night about 10:00 I looked in the cage and there were no other babies. At midnight just before I was heading to bed I checked again and there was 1 more fully formed baby that crushed in the middle with guts hanging out. It was inside the hide box. My guess was that the female bit it. It sucks as I should have checked a little more frequently. There were also 6 infertile ovums.

It could also be that the baby did it himself by yanking on the birth sack trying to eat it; I always worry about that.

Just 4 plus 5 ovums and 1 born either dead or killed shortly after birth by female.
