Turned out to be Mites
So I haven't posted in a while, because Chronos has been battling a horrible mite infestation. It turned out what I assumed was shedding a month or so ago, was actually the beginnings of a mite infestation. I think he got it from the breeder, but anyway he has been quite the trooper as we have gone to vet twice to get the medication to get rid of these nasty things. It has taken a month to get them down to where they are now, and he doesn't seem any worse for wear. He's still eating like a pig, and has shed twice since the first vet visit. Within a month he's gone from 64 grams to 95 grams. He's growing super fast and well. No sign of anemia supposedly, says my vet, and he's gotten so handlable since this all started. I couldn't be any more proud of him and his amazing strength ^^
