BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hey guys i need some help!!!
I have an approx. 5 year old bts, and and he has just come out of shed. within the past 3 days he has developed a weird spot on his head, that looks like his scale is just gone?? it kind of reminds me of mold. i even fed him earlier and didn't even notice it. Its really freaking me out because i don't know what its from, and to be completely honest, money is really tight right now, and my family doesn't have the money for a herp vet right now.
If you can tell me what you think it looks like PLEASE DO. im scared for my baby

It doesn't really look like an injury to me... Have you tried rubbing it with a damp cloth? It could just be a stuck scale. Tear off a tiny corner of a paper towel, wet it, and lay it on top of the spot for a few minutes, then take the damp cloth and rub to see if any of it pops off.
If it looks like an injury to you though then you may want to leave it alone. If it is turning red at all then you may want to think about an emergency fund for your pet as he may have to be seen by a vet.
