Hi everyone-
Just want to ask how often I should be feeding my almost 5 month old Merauke. She is still eating most if not all of her 1 tablespoon portions once a day with added roaches or other live protein on Saturday and Sunday at mid afternoon and also eats that with vigor. Last week I decided to start at least skipping one day a week, but still feel this may be too many feeding days at this point in time. She is not over weight but maybe getting a bit more girthy than length growth because she has not had huge growth spurts in the past month like she was having previously.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Diet question please
no real set feeding schedule,i feed ad lib, babies if kept under the right conditions dont get fat as they put food consuned into growth,eg they grow alot faster
each feeding i just dump a decent amount of food in,you soon learn how much is enough and adjust proportions to suit,a table spoon or 2 is often not enough for some of mine, yet its ample for others

Dubia roaches and other captive bred roaches are great; glad to hear you are feeding them! Try as much as a juvenile will consume and they slow down eating when they grow into adulthood to 3 day a week eating schedule. Unless your bts is like mine and eats everyday after going off food in the winter.

Ditto Richard
works for me, if they don't eat what's in there, just adjust, and I breed my own Dubias for treat time!

Re: Diet question please
Thanks guys. Mine is a bottomless pit and does eat no more than 1 tablespoon in the morning feed a day but will snack each afternoon I bet if I let her. I will try every other day and if she needs to eat more at a sitting I will adjust that. Sound good???? Thanks.
