anyone use EXO terra Glow Fixture?

Hey Guys..

I am looking into getting the Exo Terra Glow Fixture... anyone use it? How long does it actually "glow" for? I have my suspicions

I currently use a DUAL DEEP DOME by ZOO med for the heat light and UVB but I want to switch to an "all in one" situation and use a mercury vapor bulb.

Love to hear peoples opinions.

Cheers mate, never knew these existed until you made this thread, might pick up one in 6 months or so when my current UVB needs replacing depending on how it goes for you.

Let me just clarify. It's just a fixture....

I thought it was cool because it technically glows for a few hours after the light shuts off. You can use almost any type of bulb with this fixture. I plan to use a MVB 125w. With the medium fixture.

The fixtures have a max wattage for the following:

Small- 100w.
Medium 150w
Large- 200 w

Ah i see that was my bad i didn't read close enough, but it still is interesting if it works as it says and has a decent life before it stops glowing, cheers.

Was a little bored at work today so I did some shopping...just ordered one! Will let everyone know how one of my BTs likes it, and if he does, they all get one!

UPDATE:

I just wanted to update you all on the light fixture... its very cool! love it However... the MVB's will stick out of the MEDIUM fixture... best to buy the LARGE fixture that way the lightbulb sits within the light dome (that way if you need you can out the fixture right on top of the screen of the terrarium without it touching the lightbulb.

Yes I got the large one, and I love it. Gives off a soft glow for a bit after light goes off so if your baby is wandering at that time he can find his way back to his hide! Mine go to sleep waaaaaay before lights out so it's actually more fun for me than him, I think it is very cool. Almost like a full moon over your tank. I think I'll be getting a few more of these!

glad you liked it too!. I bought another as well... really like it. The glow doesnt last very long.. maybe a half hour. But it is neat.
