dry belly scales????

Postby WatercolourDragon » Thu Jan 22, 2015 8:00 pm

Sly seems to have rough?????? belly scales and im not sure why? could he be too warm and not being hydrated enough? its only when you go backwards when touching his belly, not forwards. Maybe he's gonna shed soon? he doesn't look grey or anything so i doubt that. they feel like i wanna say pieces of paper giving me a papercut that doesnt hurt, i just wanna make sure he's cool. His belly is completely normal looking its the same red it's always been, just the ends of his scales are sort of whiteish translucent. It's weird. :noknow: :noknow: :noknow: :noknow: Should i post pictures?

Too low humidity could cause rough scales. Make sure he is hydrated and that his enclosure isn't too dry. I lightly mist the substrate (forest moss) and the sides of her enclosure every day to keep humidity up and keep her hydrated.
