Oh yeah, baby claws are so sharp!! My girl, Peaches, left huge scratches on my arm, which I took to calling 'skink wounds'.
My new addition is full grown but clearly didn't have a lot of furniture in his last home to wear down his nails; they are razor sharp. He also does not like to be handled so he often draws blood. Eep! I'm still hoping to tame him, though, and his new enclosure will have lots of rough surfaces/decor for him to naturally file his nails down. Just gotta wait until he's out of quarantine.

My bts is an adult. He is 6-years-old, he wears down his claws on his half log. I let him climb my back and shoulders, that is when he does the most damage.
