I think my blue tongue might be getting sick
Hello, I will try to make this as short as possible. I just got my bluey about a month ago, and recently, she has been making a weezing-like sound. It has happened once today, and the only other time it happened was about a week ago, when she woke up. She has been eating normally since I got her, a really great eater. I feel like I many have overfed her on the last feeding, could this be the cause? I fed her banannas, squash and some egg (with shell). Please tell me if these are any warning signs for any illnesses. I really love brownie and would do anything to keep her alive, happy and well. (Btw, She is already an adult, about 3 years of age)

Is it a weeze or a crackle? Is she sneezing a lot? Wheezing can be normal, it can be traced back to nostril shape or something stuck in the nose causing the weeze.

Are you sure the sound you are hearing is not simply the BTS "huff"?

I dont really know how to describe the sound, but it is quite loud. Not really a wheeze nor like a crackling cough. She usually only sneezes after digging, and the substrate (reptibark) is a bit dusty, so I would think that it is normal. Also she sometimes sneezes afew times after eating which I would also assume is normal.

my skink also sneezes sometimes after eating or being handled. doesn't do it under most other conditions, so i've also assumed it's normal.
the "huff" is like the skink is purposely breathing harder and heavier with a closed mouth, puffing out its lungs, it's the skink's way of saying leave me alone please. a really irritated skink will proceed to a hiss, with a full open-mouthed display, which is its way of saying "I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE OR ELSE" which fortunately i haven't seen from my skink yet.

Assuming the egg was raw, this sounds exactly like what happened to mine after feeding raw egg, and now he's completely fin. The reason is the egg is like a body detox so make sure to expect very plentiful BMs, but he should be completely fine.
