My baby Iroh is here!

Yesterday was VERY exciting! My first skink (and first ever reptile) arrived, one of Diana's Aggie x Delilah babies. I decided to name him Iroh, and he's the most adorable little bugger. He was huffy and skittish at first so I expected not to see him for a few days while he got over being shipped, but nope! He wanted to explore everything. Brace for pictures!

He was very active and curious, even crawled right onto my arm to explore my sweater. He seems to be quite content to hang out on the back of my neck (I have long hair, so it's warm and safe there I guess). He ate for me right away, too...I was quite surprised and pleased! But this seems to be his favorite spot:
Burrowing under his basking tile. He seems to really enjoy the substrate, too. He practically swims through it with lots of enthusiastic digging. I'm so happy he's here!
