BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hello, just a question. Ive been told that when a bluey closes their eyes, theyre stressed. Pep closes his eyes when i gently run his forehead and can even fall asleep for a minute. Is he enjoying it? Is he comfortable? Thank you.

My guy closes his eyes as well when I rub his snout up to the top of his head. In fact, he'll nudge in as I'm rubbing as if it feels good. Sometimes, he'll close his eyes when my fingers are near them on the outside of his enclosure. I can't really say what they're feeling.

My guess is that they close their eyes while being touched near there to protect them. I imagine he'd move away if he did not like it. I'm always hoping it feels nice to them, because I do so love rubbing their little heads!
